College & Young Adult Ministry
Navigating Faith in College and Beyond
Our College & Young Adult Ministry is here to support students and young adults as they navigate the unique opportunities and challenges of this life stage. We provide a welcoming community, biblical guidance, and connections to on-campus resources to help you thrive in your faith.
We strive to create a space where college students and young adults can:
- Deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ amidst academic and social pressures.
- Find biblical answers to life's big questions.
- Connect with a supportive church family that feels like home.
- Feel equipped to be a light for Christ on campus and in their future careers.
We invite all college students and young adults to connect with us. Whether you're looking for a church home away from home or seeking to grow in your faith, there's a place for you at Greater Bethel.
Our college and young adult outreach is supported by Minister Kimika Hunter. If you have questions or want to get connected, please reach out.
Meet Minister Kimika HunterJoin our young adults (ages 18-30) for a raw and real conversation about faith and life. Bible Study Uncut is a space to ask tough questions and grow together.

On-Campus Student Ministries
We support and encourage our students to connect with ministries at Texas State University. Here are some great organizations:
A Jesus movement at Texas State that exists to exalt Jesus, make disciples, and build family. We do this by creating environments for students to encounter Jesus through worship, prayer, outreach, and discipleship.
A national movement dedicated to equipping Black students to become disciples of Jesus Christ who are spiritually focused, financially responsible, and morally fit leaders.
V.I.P. (Vision in Progress) is an on-campus Bible Study that meets every Thursday at 7pm in the LBJ student center and is open to all college students. The purpose of this Student organization is to help students on campus gain a solid understanding of their faith. This org also serves as a place of fellowship that can help students to develop relationships with other like-minded believers. We are here to help students with their walk with Christ and to do it as a community.
An open organization of seekers of Christ that participate in weekly Bible studies, support groups, and weekend/evening gatherings intended to nurture and strengthen the faith of all Christian students. Students from all walks of life are welcome to participate.
A Word of Encouragement
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
